My name is Maribel Dayoub, (otherwise known as Ms. Maribel; Ms. Bobo, Mom, or Lita). I am a St. Louis based parenting and discipline coach.

My passion comes from working alongside parents for so many years. Parenting is a gift. Often times parents just need someone to walk along side them! They need someone to encourage them, to cheer them on and simply say, “You can do this!”

This is why I feel Gathering Children is so important. Parents need to remember what God has called us to. Life gets busy with work and schedules and we are often left feeling guilty and inadequate. In our guilt we can believe that discipline is unloving, but discipline is vital to raising Godly children—and when understood biblically it demonstrates the greatest kind of love.

“For the Lord disciplines the one he loves…”- Hebrews 12:6

By God’s grace, my husband, Jordan and I raised 4 beautiful, unique, challenging, and Gospel-believing children. I have spent my entire adult life taking care of little ones as an early-childhood teacher, daycare worker, nanny, and spiritual mother to children in my church. My expertise comes from my experience.

My prayer is that this coaching would be a blessing to families in any stage of life. This coaching program is designed for families who have a toddler who throws temper-tantrums; who have a 1st-grader who is getting in trouble at school; who have 5 children ages 1 to 16; or anywhere in-between. I believe God has given parents everything they need to raise Godly children. My goal is to help you unlock what God has already given you.

I have been a Pastor’s wife for over 25 years. My coaching and parenting style is heavily informed by God’s Word and Spirit. I see parenting as a ministry to make disciples in your own home. If this worldview is different than your own, I’d still love to have an initial conversation to see if we can work together, but I don’t want you to be surprised by the saturation of the Gospel in my work.
